1. Do you accept Insurance and Accident Cases?
Yes.
We accept most major medical insurance including Medicare. We file your insurance as a courtesy to you, as well as audit all explanation of benefits to ensure your benefits are being applied correctly. If you are unsure whether we are contracted with your current insurance carrier, please give us a call!
Reasonable payment arrangements are offered if needed.
We also accept Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases.
2. Do I need a referral?
This depends on your insurance carrier’s requirements. Most HMO policies require this. The best way to figure this out is to call the customer service number listed on your card to verify with your insurance company. If a referral is needed, you have to contact your PCP (primary care physician) to obtain your referral. Each PCP is different as to their requirements to give referrals. We are happy to assist you with this process.
3. What should I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit takes approximately 1 ½ hours.
We will call to verify your insurance information and benefits.
You will have an examination with Dr. Post. He will review your history and conduct an orthopedic and neurological evaluation. Our new ProAdjuster will offer input into the best therapy and treatment for your particular case.
Depending on the complexity of your case and test findings, Dr. Post may recommend x-rays. We can do the x-rays in our office immediately after your evaluation or we may order the x-rays to be done by your PCP if you have insurance limitations.
Following your evaluation and x-rays, you will receive therapy to get you started on the path to feeling better! You will also receive specific home instructions.
4. Do you offer consultations?
Absolutely! We offer consultations at no cost to you. This gives you an opportunity to meet Dr. Post and our staff and ask questions. If you decide to schedule an examination we will get you in at the next available appointment.
5. What type of treatments do you use?
Our primary treatment methods include chiropractic adjustments (Gonstead, Diversified, Activator & SOT).
In addition, we offer Physiotherapeutics (Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Ultrasound, Intersegmental Traction, Diathermy, Galvanic, & Cryotherapy). We prescribe exercise instruction (strength, stretching, proprioceptive challenge or balance and posture). We also feature the Proadjuster as part of our therapy.
Our therapy continues with instruction about the activity involved with daily living and ergonomics and continues with instruction on basic nutrition.
6. What do I need for my first visit?
1. New Patient Forms. We have them available in our office if you are unable to print them.
2. A picture ID if you are over the age of 18. This helps us protect your health information.
3. A parent or guardian need to be present if you are under the age of 18.

7. What happens after my first visit?
Dr. Post reviews your history, his test findings and any other pertinent information to determine the best course of treatment for you. He will go over your report of findings on your second visit. Together you and Dr. Post will discuss what is best for you.
If it is determined that you should proceed with chiropractic care, we will get you started on your chiropractic treatments! Your visits should be between 10 minutes and 30 minutes depending on your specific treatment plan.
